3 Max for Live Patches to Get More out of the AKAI APC40

So now that I’ve covered Max for Live devices for both Ableton Push and the Novation Launchpad, how about some for the AKAI APC40? By the way, the first two are free and while the third sets you back by a few bucks it’s well worth it.

AS40

It lets you activate and select devices using the APC40’s mute and solo buttons. You can automatically control 8 devices per track or use markers to expose them to the APC individually.

APC40 Matrix Modes

This patch toggles the APC40’s matrix between the default mode, and a new custom user mode by pressing the Track Selection button for the track this device is on. You can assign individual MIDI notes or CCs as well as Program Changes to the pads.
