The Mellotron is an electro-mechanical, polyphonic tape replay keyboard from 1963 that became popular after the Beatles had used it on some of their songs. This bundle contains 10 Live Packs full of Mellotron sounds. Each note was individually sampled to recreate the unique sound of the Mellotron. Each pack contains a Simpler preset as well as three fully macro-mapped Instrument Racks, one of them always with controls to add reverb. They all work with Ableton Live 9 Standard or Suite. Sampled by Taijiguy.
This is how the individual Live Packs sound like:
To install, just double-click the alp-file and choose the installation path when prompted by Live. And here’s a tutorial on how to use the presets from Live Packs that are not self-installing.

Thank you! this is great
Is there any way to use this in Ableton Lite 9 whatsoever?
I’m afraid not, since the Lite version has too many limitations.
Hi I don’t have Ableton Live but have bought the samples as you said they were just WAV files – but they’ve saved as AIP files and I cannot use them… any ideas please?
Thanks
