5 Free Max for Cats Devices in a Neat Bundle

Last week, a new cat has been added to the Max for Cats collection. BENGAL, a semi-modular FM synth, available on Ableton. As you may know, there are also great Max for Live devices to be had on Sonic Bloom. To celebrate the release of BENGAL, I’ve combined 5 awesome Max for Cats freebies for you to download. Note trap is a free Max for Cats MIDI effect which lets you create musical patterns in various musical scales and modes. The pattern can be run in sync or free to your Live Set, you can set the velocity data, the direction and more. It’s ideal to add some minimalism and/or serialism to your music.

The Verbotron uses the original Gigaverb algorithm by Juhana Sadeharju which is also known as “Gverb” in Audacity. Xfade Bus Sytem 2000

Xfade Bus System 2000

The ‘Xfade Bus System 2000’ consists of two audio effects, the Xfade Send that allows for crossfading between two tracks when connected with the other one, the Xfade Receive. There are 8 possible buses for up to 8 submixes you can individually crossfade in between. Simply choose a unique bus each time for each two tracks you want to crossfade. The devices are Push and MIDI controller ready. The ‘Xfade Bus System 2000’ requires Live 9 and Max for Live (6.1).
