Description:
The hands-on workshop introduces certain aspects of the extensive possibilities of Ableton Live. While the first part of the workshop has a special focus on programming beats and loops, arranging songs and mixing, the second part is focused on different strategies to develop an individual live performance as well as discussing particular questions of the workshop participants. It’s held by Maya Consuelo Sternel and Madeleine Bloom.
The workshop is aimed exclusively at women and girls and is a beginner’s course. No previous knowledge of Ableton Live necessary.
Requirements:
- Laptop
- Ableton Live 9 (Standard or Suite edition, available as free 30-days trial version)
- headphones
- optional: audio interface, MIDI controllers
