Workshop description:

In reminiscence of the former Perspectives panel “Going public – visibility of women in electronic music”, we want to take the next logical step with the workshop “Me, myself and I”. If artists or labels want to raise the number of fans and business partners, one simply need the attention of media first. Therefore it is of major importance to understand how media work and what editors need, in order to “feed them” properly.

We would like to answer the following questions: How to communicate, connect, spread and distribute your productions and yourself in an appropriate way? How to produce and use content, language and design through diverse media channels to tell your story. How to present the right picture about yourself as an artist to the public in an effective way to get heard and seen best possible? The participants are welcome to ask individual questions and share their experience.
