ModeAudio is a loop and sample provider that specialises in a number of soundware types, including audio and presets for Ableton Live. They offer a 500 MB sized download that includes music loops, drum samples, SFX samples, sampler patches, MIDI loops and field recordings taken from a number of packs across their catalogue.
It is available in a number of formats, including as an Ableton Live pack featuring Drum Racks and Audio Effect Racks for Live 9. All included audio can be used completely royalty-free after downloading. You only need to sign up for their weekly newsletter.

Does it work with Live 8?
Only the individual samples. The racks etc. are made with and for Live 9.
