Spiker FXM (Effects Module) is an audio effect for Max for Live by Roberto Attanasio modeled after his standalone app Spiker. You can use it for filter sweeps, to boost bass frequencies, degrade the sound or add ambient noise. It’s supposedly best used for drums, but I found you can achieve very interesting effects on all kinds of sounds with it. It lets you set the values for the following parameters: ambient engine, overdrive, sample rate, bit rate as well as the LFO – Ring Modulator.
