It’s winter here and cold and when I came across the samples of a matchbox and matches in my library of field recordings, I thought of “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Andersen. This is why this new Live Pack is based on all kinds of sounds a matchbox and matches can make. It contains one fully macro mapped Drum Rack with enclosed instances of Impulse. Made in and for Ableton Live 9.
Listen to the demo:
If clicking it to download results in a text-file, simply right-click and choose ‘Save Link as…’. To install, just double-click the alp-file and choose the installation path when prompted by Live. And here’s a tutorial on how to use the presets from Live Packs that are not self-installing.
If you have the means to do so and would like to say thank you, I’d be grateful for a small donation.

Hi!
Did you know that samba musicians use matchbox to make the rythm sometimes? It is realy virtuosistic and amazing to watch and listen to… I will download and try to reproduce their playing, lets see…
Many thanks!
Yes, I’ve seen it in performances. Anything that makes a sound can be used to make music. Let me know if you can reproduce their playing style with the Live Pack.
