Here I am again with another set of themes for Live 11. The themes adapted from Live skins that are included in this set are Heliotrope, Marble, Smaragd, Ruby and Myrtle (in order of appearance in the image). This time they’re mostly medium to darker themes. Three are based on grey tones with specks of colour. Two have muted greens for bigger elements, but are still not flashy or glaring.
As with previous recreations I’ve made sure that all elements work well together, that text is well readable and that nothing is lost due to a lack of contrast. If there’s anything I still might have overlooked due to the sheer amount of details contained in Ableton Live’s interface, please let me know in the comments below and I’ll try my best to sort it out asap.
If you’d like to see more than just what an Instrument Rack looks like with any of the themes, you can simply click on the button below and click through screenshots of Live’s interface for each individual theme before grabbing them for free (or a small donation if you’d like to say thanks).
Important note: The themes will only work in Live 11 Lite to Suite and up. In Live 10 and below they will return an error message.
For Live 10 and up you can also download free themes. You can still download the Live 9 skins. If you don’t know how to install them, have a look at this tutorial. And if you’d like to create your own themes, I’ve got a tutorial for that as well.
Let me know which one is your favourite of my themes. Is it one from this set or another? Do you prefer darker or lighter themes? With plenty of grey or more pops of colour?
