It’s winter here in Berlin and quite dark, grey and grim. The perfect time to create a winter themed Live Pack. “Rub-A-Dub/SnowStep” contains two fully macro mapped Drum Racks, one made with sounds of hands rubbed together to keep them warm and one of recorded steps in the snow.
Both use instances of Impulse within the Drum Racks and make use of the Time Stretching in the macros to give you some fun and hands-on manipulation options for your beats. The Live Pack works with Live 9.
Listen to the demo:
If clicking it to download results in a text-file, simply right-click and choose ‘Save Link as…’. To install, just double-click the alp-file and choose the installation path when prompted by Live. And here’s a tutorial on how to use the presets from Live Packs that are not self-installing.
If you have the means and would like to say thank you, I’d be grateful for a small donation.

Hi. The soundcloud example sounds great. Reminds me a little of the Broken Glass pack – the crumbly crunchy sounds just grab the eardrums.
So anyway Im getting an install error from Ableton I think because Windows Vista (enemy to audio production) will not create a folder if the name contains a “/”. Do you know if there is any other way to unpack an .alp? I could just rename the project folder.
Thank You!!!

Ah, thanks for letting me know. I should have thought of this. I replaced the / with _ and repacked and re-uploaded it. Let me know if the Live Pack still won’t install.
Hi again. Wow – that was fast! Installs just fine .
Gonna go mess with it now.
Thank You Again. Take Care:)
