eVokalization – Free Live Pack by PerforModule

Generally, the freebies on Sonic Bloom are made by me. This time though I've got a great free Live Pack from Animus Invidious a.k.a. PerforModule for you. "eVokalization" contains one melodic multi-synth Instrument Rack and one beatbox Drum Rack made out of the musician eVokal's processed voice. The pack also includes a selection of free-to-use beatbox loops created by eVokal off-the-cuff.

The samples were recorded at 96kHz sample rate via Kaoss Pad into a Firewire audio interface. The Instrument Rack is a 3-voice synth made out of eVokal's voice. It contains a digeridoo-like bass sound evolving over time, a human voice playing "round robin" samples so that every note is slightly different and there are slight pitch scoops and fluctuations for an extremely "human" feel, and a clear, smooth, angelic voice which almost sounds like a string section or a pad. The Drum Rack contains individual beat box hits with sounds ranging from thumping kicks to shimmering hi-hats.

The "eVokalization" Live Pack is self-installing and works for Live 9.

Listen to the demo:

If clicking it to download results in a text-file, simply right-click and choose 'Save Link as...'. To install, just double-click the alp-file and choose the installation path when prompted by Live.

The eVokalization Live Pack (144 MB) is bigger than the others, but I just tried it myself and it downloaded in less than a minute. So it might well be your connection. To re-download, it’s best to delete the interrupted download file first, possibly also empty the browser cache.

It’s all working on my end and I haven’t had complaints by others. Don’t know what to tell you otherwise.
