Free Ableton Live 12 Theme Set No. 3 (Dark Collection)

Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on another set of themes for Ableton Live 12. Ten of them are reworks of previous themes and skins, two are brand new. The redesigns aren’t all the same as before, as I’ve tweaked some of them quite extensively.

This theme set is all about dark greys, mostly very neutral, with different colours for the controls. As the days get shorter in the northern hemisphere, where we tend to work on our music in the dark, unless you’re one of the lucky ones who gets to do it for a living, dark themes often work better.

The Ableton Live Theme Set No. 3 contains the following themes: Bronze (new), Cielo, Dash, Disco, Elegance, Heliotrope, Morea, Ochre (new), Onyx, Red Greys, Rosequartz and Viridian.

If you like my work and can afford it, I’d be grateful for a small donation. Otherwise just add a zero to the price field.

Important note: The themes will only work in Live 12 Lite to Suite and above. In Live 11 and below, they will simply revert to the default theme.

You can also download free themes for Live 10 and above. You can also still download the Live 9 skins. If you don’t know how to install them, check out this tutorial. And if you want to create your own themes, I’ve got a tutorial for that too.

Once you have downloaded the themes, please let me know which one you like best. It’s always useful to know, so I can create what you all want.

  1. Hi Madelaine, and thank you for all your amazing content!! I am enjoying you Array Mbira very much. I have a question for you: can you point me to knowledge and pieces of software for Ableton in your catalogue or elsewhere that focus on transpositions and glissandos as means of processing, especially during performance. I like the possibilities and quality of the clips section graphic transpositions and glissandos, but I find it a bit limited and cranky too. I also use Antares harmony engine, great for some things but not very flexible or exciting as a live processing tool. Any clue? Thanks a lot and hope you are doing better with your health. (I have been through similar experiences, then cured myself with natural remedies 🙂
