6 Free Ableton Live Skins (#1)

Here are 6 skins for Ableton Live that I've created for you to download for free. As you can see on the image below, there are some dark ones, suitable for live performances, as well as lighter ones. Enjoy!

Ableton Live Skins 1

Update: I tweaked the skins some more so they now work well in Live 9, too. Of course they still can be used in older version of Live as well.

Hey I just found your blog and it is tremendously useful. I appreciate those tutorials on Ableton’s info.txt I never knew about the device buttons on the tracks mod! Thanks!

You’re welcome. The device slots option is neat, isn’t it? I thought more people should know since all these options can be real time savers.

Many thanks for these skins. I’m especially liking the lighter toned ones as I’ve found most of the skins that Live comes with are a bit too dark for my liking.

Also the device slots option is just amazing. Exactly what I have been missing in Live. And to think it was right there!! Why are they making it this difficult?

Glad you like them. I think they withheld the device slots because of the little bug and then forgot about it.

Hey Madeleine, great work! You gonna turn out to be THE Ableton heroine bringing some hidden (options.txt) an less known stuff (these skins) to the scene! But I’m also curious about listening to some new tracks of Yours.
    Cheers & Blessed Easter!

Haha, I should get an Ableton banner and refashion it into a cape. Here comes Sonic Bloom with a sonic boom. ;)

Latest EP (from November) is: http://madeleinebloom.bandcamp.com/album/patchwork Haven’t had time for new music in the last months. It’s been all about Sonic Bloom. First time off during Easter with my family (away from Berlin), relaxing and getting rid of the cabin fever.
Then some more work for Sonic Bloom, coming up with new tutorials and more before I get back to new songs in mid/late April. Can’t wait.

Happy Easter holidays (hopefully with less snow and ice)!
