This video concludes the introductory mini series on live performance within With a Little Help from Max for Live, although I intend to share more Max for Live devices and tips on this topic for the foreseeable future since I’m working on my own new live performance setup. In this episode will combine the devices we’ve built in previous videos. We’ll add both the melody generator we’d build in the very first part of the series as well as the generator for bass lines from the last episode to the Live Set from the second tutorial. To make sure we can jam with them in any key we want we’ll use MultiMap from the free Max for Live Essentials Pack by Ableton, and then we’ll add the controls to the one knob control centre we’d already built.
