Green Switch – Free Max for Live CPU-Saver

I already featured another of J Garcia’s devices, the Note Displacer. He also made Green Switch, actually two Max for Live devices – one for MIDI and one for audio tracks. Both automatically turn off all devices on a track when it’s muted and saving you CPU usage in the process. As soon as you unmute the track, all devices are magically (no, not really) reactivated as well. It’s simple, but rather neat, and might come in handy especially in live performances. Version 2 additionally lets you solo track while muting not only all other tracks, but also their devices.
