If you’re looking for a quick way to colourise clips in Ableton Live, have a look at the Max for Live device Colorizer. Drop it anywhere in your Live Set, set the colour of your track and activate it. Any newly recorded and existing clips in the Session View will now automatically inherit the colour of the track they reside on. Neat!
