This is a question I’ve seen pop up over the internet again and again and I thought I’d shed some light on the topic. While there’s a bypass button in some other DAWs that allow you to simply temporarily turn off all effects on a specific track, this feature doesn’t exist in Ableton Live. There are ways to achieve a bypass fairly quickly though and in this video I’m showing you the three fastest ones.

I find the easiest way to bypass them all is group all the effects and just switch the group off…
nice one – also “0” when a singe effect or all effects are selected works well too.
