Over the years I’ve created a huge sound library, recording all kinds of different sounds in all kinds of places. I recently rediscovered this folder called “Ding Bangs” with sounds of things that make a ding or bang in the kitchen. Now they’re featured in my latest Live Pack.
The “Kitchen Ding Bangs” Live Pack contains a Drum Rack for percussive fun as well as a Simpler with a tuned ding sound for piano-like chords and melodies. The Drum Rack is fully macro mapped and contains an Impulse instead of a Simper per sample to make use of its time-stretching capabilities. The Live Pack works in Live 8 and 9.

If clicking it to download results in a text-file, simply right-click and choose ‘Save Link as…’. To install, just double-click the alp-file and choose the installation path when prompted by Live. And here’s a tutorial on how to use the presets from Live Packs that are not self-installing.
I’d be grateful for a small donation if you have the means and would like to say thank you.

very cool … thanks!
Hi, very clever Live Pack using kitchen noises, however the link to the pack doesn’t seem to work. Gives the following error message:
404: Sorry, file not found. Please contact Support for assistance.
Would love to get hold of this pack if possible.
Thanks,
AW
Link is working now, not sure what happened. Thanks.

I had only a few minutes so I quickly fixed it, but couldn’t reply anymore. Thanks for letting me know. 🙂
You, Madeline, and this site are totally AWESOME!
