Free SB Mellotron Church Organ Live Pack (No. 67)

The Mellotron is an electro-mechanical musical instrument developed in Birmingham (UK) in 1963, based on playing individual magnetic tapes in tape cartridges per note by pressing keys on a keyboard. The Church Organ preset is the sound that Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues used in many songs, including the bridge in “Lunch Break: Peak Hour”.

This free Live Pack is part 2 of the Mellotron ones that is based on the 8 new sample sets that Taijiguy has created and kindly lets me use, each note individually sampled of the different tape presets.

The SB Mellotron Church Organ Live Pack contains a Simpler preset as well as four fully macro-mapped Instrument Racks, one with controls to add reverb, one heavily distorted, one with stutter delays and one dreamy arpeggiated one. For Ableton Live 9.7 Standard or Suite. Please note that the “Mellotron Screamo Church Organ” preset requires Suite to work, the others only the Standard version of Live 9.7. The Live Pack is self-installing.

I would be grateful for a small donation if you are able to give it as a way of saying thanks. Otherwise just add a zero to the price field. Gumroad no longer offers PayPal as an option, so if you’d like to donate using PayPal, you can do so above. Thank you very much!

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. 🙂
