The time shifting of an audio signal is one of the most powerful and effective sound treatments ever invented. Traditionally, delay effects have been used for drastic and dramatic audio treatment – from BBC’s Radiophonic Workshop to Jamaican Dub music to British post modernism (e.g. Autechre). Max for Cats offers a fresh approach with four exciting Max for Live delay devices, Grain Relay, ResoTaps, Skram Delay and Stochastic Delay.

Grain Relay by Max for Cats
Grain Relay is a multi-dimensional Granular Delay Processor that unites granular delay, pitch shifting, reverb, downsampling and ring modulation.
ResoTaps by Max for Cats
ResoTaps expands on Live’s Resonators concept by incorporating modulation, independent multi-tap delays, and MIDI-side-chaining for real-time resonator tuning.
Skram Delay by Max for Cats
Skram Delay is a dual channel delay with modulated delay times. It lets you dial-in various flavours of delay randomness, its speciality ‘instant glitch’ sounds.
Stochastic Delay by Max for Cats
The Stochastic Delay can be used on all kinds of audio material – beats, voice or instruments for crazy delay effects you haven’t heard before. Or emulate old tape or BBD delays.
