A Modular Ecosystem of 11 Modulation Devices for Ableton Live
Modulators Plus is a creative toolkit for Ableton Live that can turn static parameters into evolving, expressive movements. It contains eight modulators and three mapping devices. The pack brings together a wide range of modulation approaches, from pseudo-chaotic equations and Euclidean rhythms to gesture recording, MIDI and audio triggers, and much more.
You can extend the modulation devices further using multi-lane mappers and a dedicated Map Expander. The result is a flexible and user-friendly pack that encourages exploration while remaining practical for sound design, composition and live performance.
Whether you want subtle motion, complex rhythmic modulation, or unpredictable results, each device focuses on a distinct way of generating and shaping control data that can be mapped across Live and third-party plug-ins.
Meet the 8 Modulators
ChaosMod
ChaosMod lets you choose from 12 pseudo-chaotic equations for generating modulation data for XYZ movements. This data can then be mapped to three parameters anywhere in the Live Set.

EuclidLFO
EuclidLFO can be used to generate a periodic waveform from a Euclidean pattern. This waveform can then be used to modulate parameters, either specific to Live or those of third-party plug-ins
Gest XY
A gesture recorder and player. Move the circle on the XY surface to record, then play back and even loop the result. The dimensions can be mapped individually to up to three targets each. The gesture playback can also be triggered with incoming MIDI notes.

KeyMod
Route the MIDI input to the device and assign different functions to individual MIDI notes. Each note can be used to toggle, ramp, loop, gate and randomise a parameter. The incoming MIDI notes can be distributed to the 8 lanes using the MIDI Learn mode.
LFO S
The LFO S is an extremely lightweight mini LFO designed to modulate Live specific or third-party plug-in parameters. Although the feature set is limited to conserve computer resources, it still boasts 9 waveforms for the LFO.

LFX
The LFX has two LFOs and allows you to combine their outputs in a variety of mathematical ways. The displays show the individual LFO waveforms, as well as the combined output.
P-Seq
P-Seq is a 32-step modulation step sequencer that can be synchronised with Live’s transport, or triggered by incoming MIDI or audio sources. In essence, it is a parameter sequencer that combines three different step sequencers into a single device.

Trigger Mod
Trigger Mod is a trigger-random modulator. It combines audio input from the track with a transient threshold detector to trigger a random generator, which can be mapped to any parameter for modulation. It can also generate MIDI notes that can be used as input sources on another MIDI track via track routing.
Expand the Modulators Even Further
Curve Modulate
Curve Modulate enables seven parameters to be mapped to a dial, each of which can be affected by a breakpoint curve. Depending on the set breakpoint envelope, this can result in wildly different modulations for each mapped parameter.

Map Expander
Map Expander allows you to route the output of multiple Modulator Plus devices into it, providing additional modulation destinations. It is compatible with the following devices: ChaosMod, EuclidLFO, Gest XY, KeyMod, LFO S and LFX.
Modul8te
Modul8te offers seven equal modulation routings from a single dial source. The polarity, amount and lag generators can be used to tailor the modulation amount for each target individually.
