The Mellotron is an electro-mechanical, polyphonic tape replay keyboard from 1963 that became popular after the Beatles had used it on some of their songs. This bundle contains 10 Live Packs full of Mellotron sounds. Each note was individually sampled
The Fairlight CMI is legendary. So it wasn't very surprising that the Ableton Live Simpler presets I made with all the sounds of the model CMI IIx made quite a splash. Back then I released them as 10 individual Live
Max for Cats is generally known for his fantastic Max for Live devices. What many may not know is that he also has a passion for synths that borders on obsession. He indulges it with the new Ableton Live Pack,
I've got a Bontempi B3 electric organ from the 70s or 80s with 25 keys, a six-chord accompaniment and a traditional fan, giving it a slight Leslie effect. I sampled each key individually. Some are a bit out of key, but together with the noise of the fan, they give the Live Pack its authentic charming sound not unlike an accordion. The "B3 Organ" Live Pack contains 2 fully macro mapped Instrument Racks as well as a raw Simpler preset. Made in and for Ableton Live 9.
Verbotron by Max for Cats, a great free Max for Live reverb, got overhauled. Version 1.1 now features Push mappings and a redesigned interface which features a handy visual representation of the reverb parameters. It uses the original Gigaverb algorithm by Juhana Sadeharju which is also known as "Gverb" in Audacity.
Halloween is just around the corner and I've got a fitting Live Pack for you. It's called "Spine Chilling" and contains 16 select sounds from my sound library. Squeaky doors, breaths, creaks, eerie machine sounds, thunder. The works.
The Swooshes Live Pack is based on 31 sounds made from belts, rope, sticks and wire being swung around to create various swoosh sounds. A Drum Rack as well as a fully macro mapped Instrument Rack with added reverb and ping pong delay. Made in and for Ableton Live 9.
Ages ago I recorded all kinds of noises that can be produced with a Coke bottle. The most interesting sounds are now available in a Drum Rack as a free Live Pack. The Coke Live Pack is made in and for Ableton Live 9.
Until a couple of months ago, Christian Kleine a.k.a. Max for Cats had a Model M pianet from Hohner from the late 70s/early 80s, one of the best sounding ones around. With built in phaser, EQ and two 20 Watt pre-amps it's the most advanced of all pianet models. Before he parted with it, he sampled each note individually, cleaned up the sound and created a Live Pack exclusively for Sonic Bloom.
No, we're not going back to the stone age. Yet, the "Rock 'n' Stone" Live Pack is based on various sounds of rocks and stones. It contains one fully macro-mapped Drum Rack, the pads filled with instances of Impulse. Made in and for Ableton Live 9.
