The latest beta of Ableton Live has just been released to all testers, version 9.7. And I can tell you, Push users are really getting spoiled lately. Live 9.6 just came out with plenty of great new features for Push
A few weeks ago, Ableton announced Live 9.1 which would finally bring dual monitor support, improved exporting, a melodic step sequencer to Push and a long list of other changes and bug fixes. The beta is out now and can be downloaded by users of any Live 9 version after signing up to the Ableton Beta Program.
A new beta for Ableton Live 9 was just released, version 9.0.5b1. It brings quite a few bugfixes for Live as well as helpful improvements for Push. If you've read my review of Push, then you'll notice that some of the fixes for Push were things I'd mentioned.
While there are a lot of workflow improvements in Live 9, there are some changes that can practically wreck your live performance. One of them is the way how clicking one of the record buttons would instantly start the recording. Or better, how it worked in Live 9 until now... as Ableton have listened.
